Privacy Policy

The Association may collect the following information when members register, enroll in events, use our platform, or interact with the Association:

- Other information voluntarily provided by members (e.g., survey responses, event participation records).
2. Purpose of Data Use
The data collected by the Association will be used for:
- Providing and improving the Association’s services and platform functionalities;
- Organizing and managing events, meetings, and training programs;
- Sending communications, notifications, and updates related to the Association;
- Complying with legal and regulatory requirements;
- Conducting statistical analysis to enhance member experience.
3. Data Sharing and Disclosure
The Association does not sell or rent members’ data. Data may only be disclosed under the following circumstances:
- To comply with legal or regulatory requirements;
- Shared with partners or service providers for necessary technical or administrative support;
- With the explicit consent of the member.
All third-party partners are required to comply with data protection obligations and may only use the data within the scope necessary.

The Association will retain members’ data only for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected. When the data is no longer required, it will be securely deleted or anonymized.

The Association adopts reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect members’ data from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
6. Members’ Rights
Members have the right to:

- Request correction or updating of their data;
- Request deletion or restriction of data processing (within the scope permitted by law);
- Withdraw previously given consent.
7. International Data Transfers
If data needs to be transferred outside Hong Kong, the Association will ensure that the recipient provides adequate data protection measures to safeguard members’ rights.

9. Policy Updates
The Association may update this policy from time to time. Any material changes will be announced on the platform or notified to members via email.
10. Interpretation
In the event of any inconsistency between the English version and versions in other languages, the English version shall prevail.
